CHRISTMAS KITCHEN 2021

At CLHEI, Christmas Kitchen is one of our many ways of reaching out to vulnerable groups & indigent persons in different locations where we share food and non-food items with identified persons. Since the inception of the organization this has been a yearly practice to share together in the spirit of Christmas.

This year 2021, our budget is set at N9, 942,250. This will enable us reach out to 1000 vulnerable households & selected communities in Benue & Nasarawa states; IDPs, the aged, person’s living with disabilities and widows. Each household identified will get a pack comprised of:

10kg of Rice – N5000
10kg of Garri – N2000
1 Litre of Groundnut Oil – N1300
1 pack of Maggi – N 500
1 pack of Salt – N 200
1 roll of tomato paste – N 500
1 Bowl of Onions – N 500

GRAND TOTAL PER HOUSEHOLD – N10,000

Items are already coming in from well-meaning Nigerians and from different parts of the country, however, we are yet to hit the mark. Kindly donate today for an item or the complete package for a household as every kobo has a multiplying effect to achieving the overall goal…putting a smile on the faces of 1000 IDPs in Benue & Nasarawa States. Mobilization of resources will end on the 16th December, 2021 paving way for distribution to commence from 20th December – 22 December, 2021.

The year 2020 Christmas Kitchen was carried out in three (3) local governments: 2 in Benue (Obi LGA, Nepa Quarters IDP Camp Makurdi) and 1 in Nasarawa (Lafia) reaching a total of 1,613 persons.
