Community Links and Human Empowerment Initiative (CLHEI) is a non-governmental organization that seeks to complement government efforts by reaching out to people in communities and grassroots level, with a vision to create a self-reliant society where individuals and groups explore their inner resources with the aim of realizing their full potentials.
CLHEI was founded in January 2006 and was registered on 18th Oct.2010 with Corporate Affairs Commission with registration number CAC/IT/N0 41255.The organizations Duns Number is 561202228. CLHEI have worked extensively in the North Central and North East of Nigeria. With her presence in all north central states and offices in FCT, Benue, Nasarawa and Adamawa states, CLHEI has worked with vulnerable persons especially the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Children, widows, and the refugees

CLHEI AIMS AND OBJECTIVES.
1. To empower rural communities towards self help and development, linking them to opportunities in areas of agriculture, good governance, and human development.
2. To advocate for provision of quality health care to rural communities in Nigeria and help fight the scourge of HIV/AIDS, reduce vulnerability in malaria, Tuberculosis and other public health challenges..
3. To encourage people especially women and youths improve on indigenous technology and increase productivity..
4. To increase Community participation in promoting a peaceful society devoid of gender and other human rights abuses..
5. To work in achieving Community Led best Environment, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (E-WASH) practices..
6. To work closely with other nongovernmental organizations, governmental organizations, and other civil society groups to advance development in our society..
7. Rapid, dignified and efficient humanitarian aid during emergencies.
